The socio-economic vice-president, Efraín Medina, recalls that the goal of these actions is to improve marketing and open new markets for the textile sector, a new source of employment and in which the Cabildo is making a great effort to promote its visualization beyond our borders. In this regard, Medina stresses that “once again, the companies of Tenerife Moda rub shoulders with the great brands in the sector, which is a source of pride for us that in this edition of Barcelona Bridal Week we can count on Marco & María and Amarca representing us” .

The Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week will count in its 28th edition with more than 370 brands, 68 percent international, and 27 great brands on the catwalk. The show is once again committed to internationalization with buyers from 50 countries and the presence of leading national and international brands.

As for the other brand, Amarca, it will attend for the first time the Professional Trade Fair of the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week with the purpose of opening new markets with its 2019 collection, ‘Tropico’, both in its women’s and children’s lines.

The feminine proposal, inspired by the two parallels of the Earth, is composed of ethereal pieces, made of silky and noble fabrics such as satin, brocades and embroidery, which are complemented by hand-made details in the form of 3D leaves and flowers. Fluid lines with well-marked waists and transparent lattices and layered garments that subtly envelop the female body. Vibrant yellow, calm blue, watered green and white are the chosen color palette.

Meanwhile, in its line Amarca Kids, the brand proposes a trip full of color and fun by the untamed coast, in which calm blue and white tonalities build a romantic and fresh proposal. Minimal ruffled textures, maxi and flared sleeves adorn skirts of light volumes and pleated sizes, in which the embroidered leaves take center stage in plumetis, organza and silk tulles.
