Tenerife Moda awarded with the Vangard Magazine Prize in the category of Institutional Initiative.

The group Tenerife Moda, a sectoral program of the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, has been awarded by the prestigious magazine Vangard Magazine in the category of “Institutional Initiative”.

This third edition of the awards coincide with the anniversary of the magazine Vangard, a canarian publication founded in 2011 with the aim of becoming the reference in the fashion industry, betting on projects, initiatives and ideas of great canarian professionals with national and international projection, without neglecting external productions and collaborations of great professionals worldwide.

Among the twenty winners of this edition we find Google Glass, Entrepreneurship Award: Julian Beltran, The Cesar Manrique Foundation Award for Architecture and Sculpture; Paco Varela, Fashion Designer Award and the Top Model Madeleine Hjort among others.

The Island Councillor for Economic Development, Trade and Employment, Efraín Medina,  thanked on behalf of the Corporation this award, that rewards professional, social or entrepreneurial career professionals and the most distinguished entities of the year.

He also expressed his desire “to extend this award to all the members of the collective Tenerife Moda, that must not only recognize the commitment of the Cabildo to the fashion side of the island, both in promoting and supporting marketing, but also the great work of all the firms and companies that are part of the group, without whose efforts this great project would have not been consolidated and thus generated wealth for Tenerife, with an increase and diversification of island economic activity linked to job creation “.

The ceremony will take place on November 27th in Gran Canaria, at 21.00, at the Cultural Center de la Caja de Canarias, Cicca.
