The dressmaker Lorenzo Caprile will chair the jury of the Tenerife International Young Designers Contest

The socioeconomic vice president of the Cabildo, Efraín Medina, recalls that the six finalists will present their proposals on the catwalk on April 11

Tenerife- 14/02/2019. The fashion designer and dressmaker Lorenzo Caprile will be the president of the jury that will choose, on April 11, the winner of the Tenerife International Young Designers Contest, organized by the Cabildo de Tenerife (Council). In addition, the young designer Eduardo Navarrete, participant in the television program Maestros de la Costura, will also be part of the jury. This has been revealed by the socioeconomic vice president, Efraín Medina, who thanked the participation of both designers.

Efraín Medina insisted that next April 11 “the jury will have a complicated choice after seeing the high level presented by the six selected finalists this week”. Specifically, he recalled that the selected, after the meeting held on Tuesday by the rest of the jury, which will show their proposals on the catwalk of the International Center of Trade Shows and Congresses of Tenerife have been Samuel Gonzalez Salguero (Barcelona), Marc Phillipe Guerin (Tenerife ), Juan Antonio Real Camarero (Seville), Lucas Santos Álvaro (Valladolid), José Pérez Rubio (Granada) and Antonio Luque Carmona (Córdoba).

One of them will be the winner of a contest in which representatives of the textile sector will meet, with the priority objective of expanding and consolidating their marketing and enabling the initiation of professional contacts that will allow them to boost their career in the world of fashion . When making the selection, the jury must pay special attention to the originality, quality and creativity of the designs presented, as well as to its innovation and adaptability to the market and its commercial viability.
