The Tenerife Moda firm Sedomir Rodríguez de la Sierra opens its first store in Santa Cruz

The socioeconomic vice-president, Efraín Medina, explains that this new point of sale will allow to contribute to boost the commercial activity in the center of the capital

La firma de Tenerife Moda Sedomir Rodríguez de la Sierra abre su primera tienda en Santa Cruz

Tenerife– 14/09/2018. The firm Sedomir Rodríguez de la Sierra, as part of Tenerife Moda collective from the Cabildo (Council), will open its first store in the Tenerife capital on October 6th. The chosen property is a cataloged historical building, located on Calle Imeldo Serís, in the heart of Santa Cruz. The building has been rehabilitated taking care of all the artistic elements of the romantic classism to which it belongs.

The Tenerife company will have more than 250 square meters of commercial space divided into three floors, becoming its headquarters. The goal of the firm is to address its international expansion from this new location. Sedomir Rodríguez de la Sierra has been developing an important task of internal reorganization, advised throughout this time by the Tenerife Moda program, in order to promote its commercialization. This strategy has facilitated, among other aspects, that the firm from Tenerife has been able to facilitate the creation of new direct jobs specialized in textile manufacturing, in addition to consolidating existing jobs.

The heads of the firm thanked the support given from the area of Employment, Trade, Industry and Economic Development of the Cabildo and, in particular, the head of the department Efraín Medina, who has supervised first hand the work carried out to expand the network of points of sale, give space in this new store to other firms of the collective and create collaborative synergies that allow improving the commercialization of the sector.

The opening ceremony of this new space of Sedomir Rodríguez de la Sierra will feature the participation of one of the best model agencies in Spain, Pop House and the collaboration of companies such as Juan Castañeda and Romulo Leal Decoraciones, as well as the Cabildo de Tenerife and the City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
