The socioeconomic vice-president, Efraín Medina, recalls the work that is done from the Cabildo to promote the commercialization of the Tenerife Moda companies

The designer from Tenerife, Juan Carlos Armas, presented on Wednesday 18, his new collection, in the Glass Gallery of the Palacio de Cibeles, within Madrid Bridal Week, before Costura España. The couturier who celebrates his 30th anniversary this year in the world of fashion, has baptized this collection with the suggestive name of XXX.
The socioeconomic vice president of the Cabildo, Efraín Medina, who accompanied the designer in this national presentation, recalled that the objective of Tenerife Moda, a company of the Cabildo “is to continue promoting the commercialization of its product in emerging markets”, adding that the brand comes to this important commercial event in Madrid, “which is one of the greatest opportunities that occur in the national territory for large firms specializing in parties and ceremonies.”
Juan Carlos Armas, who is attending this national catwalk for the fifth consecutive year, is one of the most relevant designers of the support program for the textile sector Tenerife Moda from Cabildo, where he works after three decades of work in favor of the Fashion diffusion made in the Canary Islands. After the good reception that the new collection of Juan Carlos Armas had among the attendees, the insular vice president pointed out that “if one of us triumphs it is good for the Island”.
The new collection by Juan Carlos Armas is inspired by the 50s and highlights the female silhouettes with a marked vintage character. Long dresses, wide skirts with can-can under tight bodies, mermaid cuts, overlays and that romantic air through princess dresses that make up the proposal of the designer along with pants and overall with wide legs finishing, V-necklines and bodies filigree embroidery with open backs.
