The Cabildo, the City Council of Adeje and the CEOE support the first steps of the fashion cluster

Several of the companies that make up the group have participated in a meeting organized within the framework of the celebration of ‘Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje’

Tenerife– 17/10/2018. The Cabildo of Tenerife, the City Council of Adeje and the Business Confederation of Santa Cruz de Tenerife-CEOE held today [day 17], within the framework of the second edition of ‘Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje’ (TFBCA), a meeting business dedicated to the world of fashion. In this meeting, the first steps of this business start-up have been taken and some of the lines of action of the sector for 2019 have been discussed.

The socioeconomic vice-president of the Cabildo, Efraín Medina, put in value the creation of the cluster, since “it allows that the companies of the sector and join and face his problems and look for solutions of joint form”. Also, he advanced that the councils of Tenerife and Gran Canaria are working coordinated to be eligible for the call for European funds in order that the Canarian textile sector can continue to grow and generate business opportunities and new jobs.

The councilor of Artistic Historical Heritage of Adeje, Juan Desiderio Afonso, was grateful that the municipality host these days the ‘Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje’. In addition, he stressed that throughout the week it will continue to hold various events. “We are proud that this is done in Adeje and we are convinced that it will be a consolidating date”, he added.

El secretario general de CEOE Tenerife, Eduardo Bezares, recordó que, a través del programa mentoring que desarrollan el Cabildo y los empresarios, se brinda asesoramiento a los emprendedores que quieran poner en marcha su empresa. Además, animó a los asistentes a sumarse al clúster y puso como ejemplo los buenos resultados obtenidos por la agrupación de empresas en otros ámbitos como puede ser el transporte.
