Tenerife Moda announces the casting of models for Young Designers and Fashion Professional Conference event, in 2015

The selection of candidates will take place this Friday, March 13, at 19:00 at the Hotel Silken Atlantida in the capital of Tenerife.

Tenerife Moda prepares the casting of models to participate at the Young Designers Contest VIII of Tenerife Moda, which will take place on April 16 and will be followed by the Professional Days of Fashion, to be held from 17 to 19 of that month at the fairgrounds of Tenerife’s capital.

The casting, led by designers Marco Marrero and Maria Diaz (M & M) will take place this Friday [March 13] in the Silken Atlantida Hotel, located at Avenida Tres de Mayo, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, from 19.00 .

In this selection male and female models may participate . Those who are enrolled in the different modeling agencies of the Canaries or, otherwise, that are registered in Social Security (NHS equivalent) as self-employed. For safety, models that won’t meet one of the two criteria will not be selected.

This fashion event in Tenerife has become a hallmark of textile, promoting fashion brands attached to Tenerife Moda, and it will come back this year with many new features and activities such as Professional Fashion Fair 2015 to be held alongside the shows that, once again, will be led by M & M.

In the last edition of this casting more than 300 models were presented to model down on the catwalk Tenerife Moda. It will showcase in its seventh edition the designs of young designers finalists, and subsequent days it will host over 40 shows of designers and companies of Tenerife Moda.

The VIII Young Designers Contest of Tenerife Moda will have this year five finalists that will present their collections. This time it will be María Isabel Fajardo and Robert Caro (Granada) with their collection ‘419’; Juan Carlos Hernández (Tenerife) with ‘Spectrum’; Andrés Jarabo (Zaragoza) with ‘Multimateria’; Gabriel José Muñoz (Almería) with ‘Praxilias’ and Paloma Navarro (Almería) with its collection ‘Sensory’.
