The fashion brands Amarca, Juan Carlos Armas and Sedomir Rodriguez de la Sierra show their collections in Madrid on 19th and 20th of May.

The Council participates this year, through the Tenerife Moda collective, on the catwalk ‘Costura España’ with the firms Diseños Amarca, Juan Carlos Armas and Sedomir Rodriguez de la Sierra. Thus, the Palacio de Cristal of Madrid hosts wedding fashion parades, parties and ceremonies on the 19th and 20th of May.
The Bridal Collection of Diseños Amarca is named ‘Belladonna’ and is inspired by the Victorian era, with vintage dresses and contemporary modern designs, true to the rich floral and embroidered details. Combine disparate fabrics such as silk tulle and French chantilly lace, with more rigid and natural Mikado silks, achieving a range of suggestive volumes.
Juan Carlos Armas presented his new proposal for celebration and ceremony 2016 under the title ‘Love’, made with high quality materials, attention to detail and visual effects that conclude in elegant and sophisticated designs. It has been proposed to describe the love through different creations inspired by film divas with touches from the 60’s. These are jewel suits in short and long dresses, pure lines that enhance the femininity and elegance through contrasts of shapes and overlapping tissues.
And the firm Sedomir Rodriguez de la Sierra has clean and meticulous structures that combine perfectly with a sophisticated and elegant woman. His collection for 2016 includes proposals for morning, afternoon and evening, in where there’s a predominance of pompous and bulky forms, without forgetting those that mark and draw the woman’s body to perfection. The common lines marked by the band fitted at the waist, the hand crafted and hand beading laces, modified textures from embroidered tulle transform black, maroon and pink shades. Exposed backs, unmistakable symbol of the firm, is a common denominator in the new proposals.
